Baseball, as with other sports is intimate. Think back for a minute..... Y ou walk into stadium, what are the first things you can see, smell, touch? All of your senses are on fire. You smell the grass, the concrete, the fresh popcorn, and numerous other items you don't smell every day. You see the gates, and both young and old get that sense of excitement as you walk through. Batting practice has started so you move quickly down to the front row to catch a glimpse of your favorite player, and maybe grab an autograph of whoever is standing close by. You hear the crack of the bat, the ball hitting a glove, the vendors trying to sell a hotdog or beer, and the umpires telling you balls, strikes and outs. As a child growing up, going to a game was an experience that could match nothing else.
